Oculus unable to service their guarantee

I returned my Oculus headset for repair in March 2022, six months on and twenty plus emails I am still chasing Meta up;

Meta has one response 'We will chase up our logisitics department'

This is the worst company ever

This is the worst company ever. Husband purchased brand new headset and then hand controllers failed to work. Contacted them who acknowledged there is an issue that their engineers are working on. Sent me a refurbished item out which had no volume and still didn't work with controllers. Sent them my receipt and all the various codes ect they requested. They sent replacement ina plain brown box keeping my original new box. I still have no working equipment and have asked for new replacement or refund.

Oculus is the worst computer technology…

Oculus is the worst computer technology ever made! I'll give it 'one' point as it wasn't too bad when it first came out. However, something did go wrong with my original oculus rift and I sent it back and they gave me a replacement - the oculus rift S! Oculus rift S is the most rubbish piece of hardware you can imagine. Not for so long, the cables that it connects to had to be replaced as it always failed to read the sensors! As soon as the cable was replaced, it has done the same thing over and over again! The oculus rift S cannot pick up the sensors at all! Oculus is a bad joke and worse still now it is controlled and taken over by metaverse! I was thinking about buying Oculus quest 2- but - is it really worth it? I doubt it! I had also purchased games on their cloud and to be honest, why? That is money I really could have saved, if I wasn't conned by such a greedy company with dodgy software and hardware! I really hope that this company goes down the pan and the people behind it lose their purpose in life and their money, they had snatched from us! A disgusted customer!

DO NOT SEND BACK FOR RMA

I have had an Oculus Quest go in for RMA and still have not received it back after almost 6 months of back and forth.

Support blames logistics and then tells me they will contact me when they have news. They have been saying this for four whole months now. I have simply come to the conclusion I have been scammed and will never receive my product back.

Don't invite hours of frustration into your life. Oculus support - as you'd expect from anything Zuckerberg has to offer - is useless. You'll get sent round in circles. They haven't got it together at all it's a mess

Normally Oculus support isn't the most helpful...

Normally Oculus support isn't the most helpful but recently I got support from -Miguel M- which was above average and helped me solve a problem that was stopping me from playing VR for months! Props to him!

Complete piece of junk

I didn’t even wanna give it a one star, I’ve had it for two months and Been able to plant maybe two weeks the rest of the time it’s been sending the heads it back to be fixed because the microphone doesn’t work on it they send me a refurbished One with the same issues and overall I wish I would’ve never bought it. Save your money on something worthwhile because this product was put together too fast and it’s complete junk. However coming from Facebook I couldn’t see it being any other way considering that sucks too

Worst Customer Support from any company ever

Absolutely one of the worst customer support I have ever experienced with any company period. So incredibly useless it is beyond belief. I have been waiting for a replacement for almost 2 months. They keep promising and giving 3-5 day deadlines and still nothing. The product itself is great but the support staff are full of it. They lie and come up with excuses. It has been a nightmare. They cannot even be straight with customers. They will hold your equipment hostage until you give in and pay for new. They have a strategy to promise and make you wait and suffer until you give them more money. Basically it is extortion hidden behind them promising things they never intend to do. STAY AWAY!!!

Worst customer service I’ve ever…

Worst customer service I’ve ever received.

5 days of back and forth because I decided to unlink my Facebook then it’s logged me out of my oculus.
I contacted them to help me as I already reset password and wasn’t working.
They didn’t help but send me password resent links and linking and unlinking my Facebook…22 times I changed my password and 4 different agents who started from scratch..
Useless and incompetent, also an agent called Rodney talked down to me and kept blaming me why reset wasn’t working.
Unless it’s password reset they can’t do anything else.
It was supposed to be escalated to higher people to check into the account from day 1, told it would take 5 days, the 4th rep 5 days later told me it was never escalated and he wouldn’t do it either..

Awful and just selling my oculus tbh, don’t buy an oculus and waste your time.
